I offer both original and reproduction prints, as well as specialty items. Below is a description of what you can expect.
I accept credit card payment via Square or Paypal, as well as checks and money orders.
Original Gyotaku prints
Hand printed with tradition materials, tools and techniques onto premium Japanese Washi paper using the highest quality Sumi ink, the original prints are each unique and one of a kind. There are no two exactly alike.
I have a selection of original prints that are either complete and ready to ship or in the process of completion. And the contents of my storage freezer are constantly changing with the seasons, so if you are looking for something specific, please inquire and I will do my best to cater to your request.
If you're interested in purchasing, please contact me for details.
Reproduction gyotaku prints
All of the reproduction prints that I offer are museum grade Giclee prints on premium art rag papers such as Somerset Velvet or Epson Premium, both of which are similar in feel to hot pressed watercolor paper.
Most are printed in-house, while larger reproductions are drop shipped via a third party printing house using the same exact materials.
If you like one of my images but prefer it in a different size, simply inquire and I will do my best to cater to your wishes. Anything is possible up to 60 inches, as well as printing on different materials such as canvas or even rice paper.
A vast selection of reproduction prints are available through my Etsy shop.
On occasion, I offer special Gyotaku related items such as hand fans and candle lamps using original or reproduced art. Small reproduced items are great for events and gifts, while unique items that utilize original pieces are powerful and eye-catching on display.
